The Health cards consist of questions that explore how childhood trauma, memories and the beliefs formed in those early years contribute to ill health, disease, and mental, physical and emotional problems. It affects all areas of your life and prevents you from living a truly fulfilled life.

The questions were developed to help you understand how much your past influences your health. In doing so, you can begin to release the blocks that stop you from healing yourself with the aid of holistic and medical support.

Example of questions:

Question 1

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

True or not, the food you eat affects your health in many ways.

Are you conscious of how you feel after eating certain foods? Not all foods are good for you. Excess sugar can cause your body to become inflamed, causing pain.

Reduce your sugar to reduce your pain.

Realistically, how much sugar are you consuming (hidden or otherwise)?

Question 2

Physical touch is a human need. Yet, for some, it evokes painful memories or was not given to them by their parents during childhood.

A heart-to-heart hug for at least 30 seconds benefits our health. Our hearts communicate through a hug, which is why it is vital to be comfortable receiving and giving hugs.

How do you feel about being hugged or touched?

What do you say to yourself? How do you respond?

Question 3

Listen to your body's messages. Our bodies continually communicate with us through how we feel, the aches and pains we experience, our tiredness, and our sluggishness.

If you allow yourself to listen, to your body’s needs or wants are made known. Do you listen to your body’s needs? You may jokingly say chocolate, but it could be fruit, some meat, rest, or time out. When you listen, you learn to sense your body’s responses.

Your body is 70% water, so it needs hydration.

If you fail to maintain hydration, your brain cannot focus, and every cell, tissue, and organ suffers. Staying hydrated is vital for your body to deal with toxins and function without harm. How much water or herbal teas do you drink compared to coffee, black tea, fizzy drinks, alcohol, or juice? Do you know the warning signs of dehydration? It’s more than being thirsty.
