The Life cards consist of questions that explore how childhood trauma, memories and the beliefs formed in your early years become unconscious blocks, shaping how you see yourself, limiting your potential, and holding you back from living a truly fulfilled life.
The questions are developed to help you see how your past is shaping your present and, therefore, allow you to remove the grip your childhood and life experiences have upon you now.
Example of questions:
Question 1
Being born is quite a shock to our system! It's a complete sensory upheaval as we are born. It may seem insignificant, especially as many people don't remember it, yet our introduction to the world has a massive impact on us. Are you aware of any issues at birth? Were you separated from your mother? Were you a natural or a caesarean birth? Could your birth explain anything about you now?
Question 2
Relationships are essential in life, but your relationship with yourself is the most important. Do you treat yourself with kindness, care, and empathy, or do you people-please, often putting others first at your own expense? Why do you prioritise others over yourself? Can you remain self-assured even when others disagree or disapprove? What life experiences have helped you find balance between being true to yourself and caring for those around you?
Question 3
Where in your life do you self-sabotage? Contradictory fears can take over your life and leave you stagnating. Have you ever struggled with a fear of success or failure and been unable to make a decision? Have you ever compared yourself to others or felt unable to pass a roadblock because you can't do it perfectly? No one is perfect, and only you get to decide how you live. How will you choose to live?
Question 4
How much time and energy do you spend caring for yourself? Do you set time aside, or only tend to your needs when things feel off? Self-care helps develop and strengthen your relationship with self-love, which includes time to rest, relax, and listen to what your body and mind need. What forms of self-care can you indulge in? Do you stay hydrated, get proper sleep, avoid unproductive negativity, and embrace your desires?
