Self-Awareness is Knowing You to Know Yourself
How well you know yourself is reliant upon your ability to be self-aware. Without self-awareness, you continue to repeat the same behaviours and limiting beliefs.
It's scary when you consider they could have been formed in your mother's womb or as a baby. And are not necessarily relevant as an adult.
From the Womb
Your ability to know yourself well is reliant on your capacity for self-awareness. Without self-awareness, you continue to repeat the same behaviours and limiting beliefs. It's scary when you consider they could have been formed in your mother's womb or as a baby.
You absorb the emotions and energy from your mother, then implement those preformed beliefs and feelings as you observe your world as a baby and then as a toddler.
However, you need to ask whether those beliefs and feelings are relevant to your adult world.
Probably not!
We Lie to Ourselves
We lie; there's no getting away from it.
Our conscious mind seeks to keep us safe.
Therefore, what we believe has to be true.
WE GET HURT BY OTHERS
WE ACCEPT THAT'S HOW IT IS
WE DON'T SPEAK UP
WE SAY WE ARE FINE WHEn WE AREN'T
But that's okay. We can continue to lie, and nobody will find out.
We will, when we begin, to know ourselves.
Self-awareness Uncovers The Truth.
Just as others can see and sense our pain and struggles.
We begin to do so as we wake up.
To the stories, we tell ourselves to justify we are okay.
Self-awareness allows us to face ourselves.
Begin to understand and free ourselves.
From the lies we continuously use to beat ourselves.
When will it stop?
When you are ready to explore your patterns.
The patterns you use to live life based on others.
Views, behaviours, thoughts and history.
Yet, you have a choice.
Only you can face your fear
To question if what you believe is true.
To find a new path through the maze of the old.
To step boldly into your future.
To find you under the layers of past hurt and pain.
It doesn't define you. It's there for you to choose to BE YOU.
Courageous, bold and confident.
